A quick thanks to all who responded....some good ideas..my favorite is
the duct tape on the spare to remind me of what parts are stored in the
hub....BTW I am picking up one of Ed Woods tires (after searching
Seattle for old volvos and VWs). and yes,  I always travel with a can of
spare air just in case.
