This may not be the best thing to ask for, what with all those conventions
and parties and other nonsuch that I cannot attend, but...
I'm looking for the chrome capping that goes around the rear of the
cockpit for a TR4. This is the thing that the top snaps onto. There are a
bunch of lift-the-dot studs (2 extra long ones for the webbing). It's
either chromed or it's aluminum; I've never been able to examine one up
close (last car show only had one TR4 and it was me...)
Condition is unimportant. Price is. So long as it's useable, even if
requiring minor repair, I'll be interested. Heck, even if it requires
MAJOR repair, no sense in deviating from the 'norm'.
Right now the car has *nothing* in the spot where this piece should go. I
think it either had a TR250 or TR6 top on it before, which broke, and I
scavenged the bits off that to make my hardtop. But that's another
story...
