Shawn Mann mentioned that he was looking for recommendations on Hella
lamps. I just got a set of 160 series driving lamps for my 1800ES,
and am very pleased. I was looking for something that would be
suitable for the period, and not the carbon-fiber micro projector
beams that are all the rage right now. The 160 series are round lamps
with chrome cases, and IMHO look right for a late-60s, early-70s car.
I got mine locally for about $60 ea.
