 Bad/loose connections get hot, less surface area to conduct the same
current. Not that any TR has ever had a loose connection, everything
being hard wired from point to point and all. Yeah, right!
 I had a similar problem on my "68 GT6, I removed the fuse box and
tightned the spade connectors by applying a bit of force to them, hell I
squeezed them with pliers. I did the same to the clips that hold the
fuses. All is good now in the Land of Lucas. Except that the horn
doesn't work and the right brakelight doesn't work and ...
 Three fuses, almost everything on one fuse. Instruments, turn signals,
brake lights, inside light, wipers. I like the way they spread out the
load.
