Hi chaps, I'm preparing an A-type overdrive for shipping and need to clean the inside. Do you think that normal water washable de-greasers will damage the friction material in the unit? It's just that the workshop manual insists that no friction reducing additives be added to the oil for obvious reasons and I was wondering if the de-greaser may harm or impregnate the friction plates in the same way. What do you think? |
