Hi all

Just to follow up my post from last week, CF28217UO, a 1975 maroon
coloured TR6 now has a new home in my garage. A bit of welding to a
rear shock bracket and change of a trailing arm at the same location
along with (only) two Lucas gremlins to squash will have me on the road
sometime next week.

As a prime example of Murphy's Law, the headlights stopped working when
I drove it back from the mechanics that were giving it the once over.
This of course happened while I was behind a police cruiser. Should be
just the dash switch or column dimmer switch as they worked on the drive
out to the mechanics and jiggling the dimmer switch can get the lights
to flicker. The other fix will be changing the blower motor. Yes, here
in Ontario you must have the capablility of defrosting the windscreen
even on a summer only convertible, go figure.

The other safety related fixes have already been done. Then it's enjoy
the weather (yesterday it hit 35'C here with 90% humidity, that's 107'F
for those south of the border). First thing to fix is the OD and the
alternator as the little red IGN light comes on below 1500 rpm.
