Here's something to ponder. Rather than repaint your Triumph - go one
different and have it chrome painted ALL OVER !!!
We admitted 4 Minis today at Gaydon with WAY OUT designs on them. Okay, its
Mini's 40th anniversary this year. First one looks like it re-invented the
definition of a rainbow, second has an impressive tarantula's web in bright
silver reversed out of metallic black, a third looks like the internals of a
clock is embedded in it - and the fourth is chrome but chrome. Chrome body,
chrome wheels, chrome lights, chrome glazing.
A la Henry Ford, any finish you want as long as its chrome.
This poses a problem.
As its illegal (in UK anyway) to drive a car with a white rear light
illuminated, what happens to the dimwit who comes up behind you at night
with 120 watts of Xenon from each lamp and both on main beam? Chances are
he/she'd vapourise themselves from the reflection!
