Could someone please tell me how the alternator wires connect to the 18ACR
Lucas alternator in my TR6?

This is how I had them aligned, as I had seen on another TR6 today. (They
weren't correct to begin with when the alternator came off, which is why I'm
rewiring this stuff) This 18ACR unit also got a new voltage regulator
today... (which is why it was off the car)
Secondly, my "small brown" wire leads directly to the battery, and when it
was connected to the other Alternator, I had on temporarily, (Ford Festiva
Motorcraft unit - don't do it, it sucks) it was drawing 5amps while the car
was off, and I'd find a dead battery each morning.
It's driving weather now in the great north east, and I'd rather not be
doing repairs any more :)
