I am back after almost a year's absence. Good to be getting gobs of
e-mail every day.
Update - I sold my beloved Spitfire Mk I last fall (weep). The
purchaser shipped it to Argentina, where I understand LBCs are very
popular right now. Got a good price, not great. The magazine article
that was supposed to come out last May, then last October then ????
FINALLY came out - check out the May edition of European Auto and my
Spitfire is in there. Got a nice write up.
Last, I am looking to purchase an early TR-6, preferably one in sound
mechanical condition, but cosmetically challenged. I just want a fun
driver for now, and will restore the thing to its original glory
later. Please let me know if anyone has a lead. I am in Southern
