  I have a 6 year old Interstate battery in my TR-4.  It gets abused - sits
for months with no tricle charger, run down several times by lights left on
an other electrical fualts, starts for short trips around the block and to
the store, water refilled once in a blue moon.  Works great, never a
problem - two thumbs up!
