Just to vent a little steam... Below is the answer I got from Harbor
Freight Tools on the generator that I ordered from them. I will NEVER
deal with this company again...

All generators are on backorder from 2 to 5 months. This is due to the
Y2K
scare.<
hey what do you expect...???? I wouldn't blame harbor frt. I have
seen on the weather channel a traveling banner across the bottom of the
screen sell that kind of scare merchandise. The US government has stated
that the biggest problem with Y2K is the scare factor.
