I'm try to replace my flexible coupling. The old one was split, cracking and would likely have caused a very scarey loss of steering in the near future. TRF only lists one part number, 150696 which is what I have here. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite seem to fit. It is about 1/4 inch too big diagonally (between the bolt holes). I can almost get it to fit if I compress the rubber coupling. Is this normal? Is there a good technique for getting this done? Thanks for any help, jim |
