I have an story from the guy from whom I got my 4.11 diff.
He ordered his TR4A new from the dealer in 1966. He ordered OD and, very
specifically, the 4.11 gears. When he received his car, he checked the ratio
and found he had a 3.7. The dealer pulled his diff and installed the 4.11 free
of charge. So now I have a diff with a CTCXXXXX (as opposed to BTCXXXXX) serial
# and 4.11 gears.
Unfortunately, the car was totaled in the early 70's when he hit a loading
pallet on the highway at high speed.
