Greg Wolf wrote that after replacing the metal battery box in his GT6 he
recommends
placing a corrosion (anti-corrostion) mat between the plastic box and the metal
box. Is
this really necessary? Would the mat act as a potential source of moisture? I
put a mat
under the battery in the plastic box and nothing between the plastic and the
metal -
comments?
After diagnosising a bad coil the Ignitor electronic ignition works great on
the TR4!
Thanks again for all who offered advice. The conversion to negative ground
took about 45
minutes and was also painless.
