Re: TR2/3 lower suspension fulcrum pin

I see your point, Mark.
I wonder what actual stresses the pins (upper and lower fulcrums) see.
Seems to me that the entire front suspension hangs on these pins......I won't
be doing any autocrossing with this car. 
Do you know of any failures in this area? I know that I'm not the first one to
assemble a front end over rusted pins.
