Why do these things seem to happen on a friday night starting a holiday weekend, when it's going to be 70 degrees the next day? Driver's side door latch won't "latch" and stay closed. Took the latch assembly off the door and it appears the tab the door knob pushes isn't returning so the latch "cam" stays in the closed position. I'm guessing a spring is broken or a part on the "cam" is missing that pushes the "tab". Moss, VB and TRF don't list the latch assembly. Any ideas or been there done thats? Many thanks, John 71 TR6 |
