I get a kick out of how the same item can cost in the vicinity of $29 from
'specialist' sources, and $15 from a simple toy store. Talk about exploiting
the market.

And before you ask - no, I'm not a socialist (would a socialist drive such
'bourgeois' cars as a TR3A and TR6?) - just an observer of such things in
this, our mutual obsession!

Cheers, JD

After checking, double checking and then triple-checking I found the
ERTL die cast TR6 in Cincinnati. I had the computer checked and
found
that the model is stocked in only two of the local stores -
Tri-County
and Eastgate. Every one of the TR6's in stock was moved to the
clearance rack. At $15 a copy and no prospect of getting one again
at
that price and without the cost and hassle of a mail order, I bought
4.
Thanks for the Toys R US tip.
