My experience with voltage stabilizer
Having disconnected the stabilizer on my TR6 the fuel and temp
meters were indicating higher values.A good battery is providing
current at around 14V and the instruments are calibrated at 12V.
So higher voltage will influence the readings upwards and vice versa.
Correct indication is achieved by fitting a stabilizer.
