Why don't we just apply the old officer's mess rule to the Triumph list:
no discussions of politics, sex or religion allowed.  

While many on the list are American and/or British and are perhaps directly
affected or interested in any of these 3 items, not all of us are American,
British and/or interested.  Not to take anyone's right to discuss these
topics away, but there are right and wrong places for everything.  This is
a car list.
