I just installed my new speedo cable (for OD cars) and it fit nicely. Unfortunately, my speedo needle hovers at about 20 mph (and occasionally bounces around). The odometer seems to work (I can't tell if it's accurate or not). Is it time to have the speedo rebuilt? My OD is not currently working. Could that affect the speedo operation?
