Hi David, I've had some luck with kerosene. First, scrape out what you can with a thin putty knife, then pour in some kerosene(parafin) and let it soak for a few hours. You should be able to clean it up with a stiff brush and some rags. Did you get the rebound bracket I sent? We shipped it out on Wednesday the 25th so you should have it soon if you don't have it already. It only cost $5.12 to mail.
