No, not rods.
But you really need a new harmonic damper, and also the duplex cam drive
(chain, cog wheels, tensioner and cover). And maybe also a new sump, I
can't remember exactly. And of course carburation/injection modified to
suit.

If your initial CR is low anyway, and your 2 litre had domed pistons, the
CR may end up just fine.
