yes it was a sedan. Came in both two door and four door form
if memory serves me right. It replaced the front wheel drive
1300, 1300TC and 1500 series. Toledo was a rear wheel drive
evolvment out of the 1300 body series.
Isn't that typical for You people on the other side of the
Atlantic... Never heard of the Toledo... I thought knowing
_everything_ possible about the marque one decides to love
was only the first step in the process of becoming a LBC
gearhead... ;-)

Triumph made lots of cars You never got to see on Your side
of the pond... And to tell the truth they paid for and made
possible most of the development of the sports cars You all
love so much. Not only You by the way. We all love them.
Regarding the other way around: As far as I can remember off
my head the only Triumph model that was only sold in America
was the TR8.
