Dean, the small tube-shaped bulb under the pass. side should have a white
plastic holder with a metal plate that bolts under the dash close to the crash
pad near the center console. If you lay under the dash and look up in there,
you will see a mounting bolt and nut in that area.
My 73 TR6 had a dangling light also until I found out where it was supposed to
be mounted while I was at a car show talking to another 73 TR6 owner.
