There's been a lot of talk of favoritism, economics, value of a restored
model etc. But I think there is one big reason why more 'B and Midget
shells have been sold compared to TR6's. Simply, both of the MG models are
drop top unibodies. Extremely complicated and/or expensive to restore. It's
probably more feasible for many people to pick up a new shell rather than
put the money into trying to keep everything just right while you're
removing the sills or floor pans of heavily rusted unit. Maybe?
