re:TR6 engine colours

   I believe the transmission tunnel lamp is only correct for cars prior to
CF1, a variety of paper sources support this.  The valve cover is correct in
silver (recommended colour is Ford Argent, a post back in the spring
mentioned a number on the can of F6AZ-19K207-AA, Ford internal ref. #014479
posted by jimb and reproduced assuming he won't mind). Believe the only
correct engine colour for this TR6 would be gloss black.  Hope this helps.
