I hate to say it, but anti seize on the taper shafts is a safety thing.
You should fix it as soon as practical. Sooner if you drive hard. BTW,
after rereading my post , I should add that no critisism or flame was meant
by the post . Your idea about renting the right tool is right on. Funny
how that never crossed my mind 20 yrs ago when a was struggleing with the
same thing
