basic TR6 questions!!

Just a few questions for other tr6 owners!!

What type of mileage do you get with you car (in the city)?

Should I purchase new tires, and save my good condition redlines for a
future date when I may choose to sell the car?  I don't expect I will
spend the big $ and purchase another set of redlines.
