Today, I attended Sports Car & Vintage Auto Festival XXVII at the Finger
Lakes Race Track in Farmington, NY (just outside of Rochester). The event
featured a huge assortment of autos of all makes and eras. Triumphs and
lbc's in general were well represented, as this was an MG Car Club
sponsored show.

When I left the event, I was fortunate to get behind a very nice, white TR6
as we headed west on Route 96. Traffic was heavy in Victor, a little town
just east of the show grounds, and we all had to wait through several turns
of the town's two traffic signals. The was a small group of kids, maybe 10
or 11 years old, on bicycles who were managing to navigate Victor, on the
the sidewalk, faster than we could on the road. When they pulled alongside
the TR6 ahead of me, one of them shouted, "Hey Mister, nice car!" Then
they quickly and silently pedaled past the red Miata that idled immediately
in front of the Triumph.
