Can I come out of the corner yet?

'Her indoors' is getting fed up at taking the occasional bit of dictation
from me to the list. In any case, she's going away for a few days tomorrow
and there might be something coming up upon which I might be able to make a
pronouncement - subject to brain being engaged before keyboard is operated.
Do I have to clearance to emerge? This wall is becoming very familiar.
