When I bought my TR6 the wiper rubbers were shot and I purchased a new
set from TRF. I had to pull the whole system out in order to put the
new rubbers on.
Now I have a problem with them (same old story). I've tightened the
retaining nut up as tight as I dare to keep the wiper heads from
moving but, particularly the one on the right hand side looking out,
wobbles itself when they are turned on.
The problem could be that there is not enough torque on the retaining
nut (although I'm worried I will tear through the thin part of the
softer rubber that holds the windscreen washer nozzle. Or it could be
that I swapped the old LHS head to the right. Or there is indeed a
LHS and RHS head and the tubing holding between the heads is only long
enough to fit the proper combination.
Any suggestions?
