The last time I replaced the manifold gasket on my '71 TR6 it was a
metal/composite gasket, whick has worked very well for a long time.
This morning I ordered a replacement from TRF. But they no longer sell
the metal type gasket, only a composite gasket. Can anyone on the list
provide an opinion to me about the difference between these gaskets, or
perhaps recommend an alternative?

Regarding Ham Radio, I think it is appropriate to ask that this
discussion be completely moved off this list. It is nice to share
similar hobbies with others on the list, but it should be done through
private email. This is a Truimphs list and postings to this list
should contain Triumph subject matter only, IMHO.
