Yes - I am not sure that the ride heights differ at the rear either,
although the suspensions do settle after years of use..
The ride heights at the front do differ, mainly due to the longer but softer
springs and the anti-roll bar fitted - essentially the same setup as on the
Stag.

The PAS does use a different crossmember, which is a clean swap - there is
no difference in ride heights when using the different cross members. You
must also remember to change the steering arms as well. The PAS items are
shorter than those for the manual setup. If you leave the existing arms on,
the steering is excessively light, very twitchy and the turning circle is
barge like.

Rather than take bits of the front suspension, why not swap the whole
setup - you get a superior system with an anti-rollbar included - much
better cornering as well as a more comfortable ride.

They actually used blocks (very thick shims...) to shift the engine across -
the holes in the body are the same.

The S manifold will fit the PI head.

The PI camshaft is the same as the cam used in the MkII 2000 and is
apparently a good mod to make to the 2500S - in fact that is what I intend
to do some time in the future to mine.
