Did anyone catch the Jag special on Speedvision today? The XJ220 is quite
the car. I could almost consider trading my Spit in on one ;)
The thing that I thought was over the top was when they went on about how
good looking the engine in it is, and that it is so good looking that they
installed a clear panel above it. I have seen a lot of other engines that
are far prettier. The Aston Martin DB2 has a rather attractive lump in it
and every Ferrari I've had the op to check under the hood of has had a nice
looking engine in it as well. The one in the XJ220 was just kind of
ordinary looking. I am not disparaging it, but I don't think it warrants a
window onto it.
