What is a lifting eye on a TR6? It is flat piece of metal at the rear
of the engine to which (on mine anyway) the ground strap to the
battery was bolted to the block. It is about 3"-4" long, has a large
(1 1/2") hole on one end and then a smaller diameter hole below it.
I found this piece in the Moss catalog on page 6, it is part #16.
What is it for?
