Hello all :
I just changed out the 3 plug rectifier assembly on Lucas alternator of y
tr6. The old one was fried. Anyway the volt meter in now up past the 15
and into the red. The alternator is internally regulated, isn't it the
rectifier assembly that does the regulating?
I haven't put a separate meter on the car to see exactly how much
it is putting out, I just wanted to know if there was something simple I
should check out before going into the alternator again. Also what
exactly am I risking damaging while checking this out.
