Justin, Thanks for your very well thought out comments. I certainly am a newbie on this page. I was having serious overheating problems, in traffic in the summer. Water wetter and new shroud didn't help. As you suggested, I mounted the fan on the front of the radiator and kept the belt-driven fan.
