Now you might be onto something there. That didn't occur to me.
I'm in the midst of rebuilding my master cylinders but have been put off by the
near zero temps (F)we have here  in Ohio right now. BTW, I have a problem that
is new to me. I was redoing the front brake lines and replacing the trunnions
last Saturday while it was 60 deg. when I noticed the left front spindle was
turning in the vertical link. I attempted to tighten the nyloc nut to no avail.
I thought perhaps I could add a washer between the nut and the link to see if it
would tighten, but the cold hasn't allowed me to try that yet. Has anyone else
experienced this problem? I suppose I could get another vertical link, but I
thought I'd try the washer setup first. Any thoughts?
