Just read in the latest "Avenues" magazine (for AAA
subscribers) that CARS (Complete Auto Racing School) is
offereing a specail for AAA members.
They offer a 1-day course of driving a "400-hp
V8 Winston Cup-style or Craftsman Truck-style race car"
(whatever that is) for $244. They provide all equipment
(suit, helmet, in-car radio, etc). Courses are held at
Mesa Marin, El Cajon, Pomona, Phoenix, Willow Springs and
