I just picked up a set of used five spoke mags (alloys, really, I think) and
after spending an afternoon with them and a can of Mothers, they cleaned up
pretty well. Only problem is there are some spots where some liquid obviously
spilled, and left "trails". I fear some acidic material left these light but
noticable lines. I tried carb cleaner on a cloth, and that didn't help much.
Also tried additional applications of Mothers and mucho elbow grease, but the
trails, though lighter, haven't gone away. Any super cleaners or super ideas?
Second, and this might be so basic that embarrassment could result, is there a
way to replace the rubber pads between the frame and body of a TR4 without
taking the body off?
