TR6 Speedo/Tach ratio

Jim Altman wrote asking about the ratio of engine rpm's to road speed.

One of my TR4 manuals states that the speed per thousand rpms in 4th gear no
OD using 165 x 15" tyres is;

22 mph for bias ply tyres
21 mph for radial tyres

As the rear axle ratio for both a TR4 and a TR6 are the same I think that
these ratios should be applicable for your car.
