If you have your hearing tested you get a two plots of pitch /
frequency. The noise from a carburettor is white in colour, that
is all frequencies have equal energy, so this covers all your
hearing range. Take the average hearing level for each ear, and
see what the difference is. Then stick a tube in each ear, and
shove these in front of the carburettors.
This MUST be done on your drive on a sunny sunday morning, when people
are gardening.
Then adjust each carburettor until they are the same pitch, and wind
down the one on your worst side.
This may not have the desired effect, but you can guaranty that your
neighbours will think you have gone even madder than before.
