John,

I am hoping to use expandable black nylon braided sleeving. It is
available for electronic harnesses and also used as a "chafing" deterent
on some auto applications; i.e., my Toyota uses a large diameter piece
on the top radiator hose, for instance. I have some in a couple of
different sizes, but have not put it on the harness as the harness is
rolled up in one of the many boxes! The braid is expensive but I was
able to get several feet on a sample basis.

I will keep the list informed as I experiment with the stuff!
