Hi Dave,

I'm not experiencing any kind of slugishness with the weber on my spit.
I do not however, know what the previous owner did to it, or if jets
were changed. I've owened the car since last February....have only had
it fairly road worthy for a couple of months (completely reworked the
front suspension, new brake rotors, re-arched rear spring, new soft top,
new carpet, new paint, and replaced foam in driver-side seat). I have
only run about 8 gallons of gas through the "Slithy tove" (the name i
decided to give the car), and looks like i'm only getting around 23 MPG.
Perhaps the PO did do something to the carb. In my opiinion, the car
scats pretty good.
