Dave,
Is the hole in your header all the way through? I ask because I had
a Monza header that had 2 fittings welded on for a E.G.R. valve but they
were welded to the outside of the pipe,I do not know if they are
normally drilled or not but I was not using an E.G.R. valve so I did not
worry about it.
I f you want/have to use the valve make sure the fitting leads to
exhaust,if so,see if the tubing will seal in the header. I believe it
would have to have a seat for a compression fitting in order for the
tube to seal to the fitting.
Perhaps you could speak to the manufacturer of the header to see if
they had a plan??
