TR3A instrument panel

     Can anyone confirm whether all 3As had crackle-texture paint on the 
     instrument panel? I know earlier models had coloured ones but my 
     concern is just with the black ones from later cars.
     
     Mine is presently NOT crackle paint, and I wonder whether I need to 
     re-do it for a proper restoration, or if sometimes they were just 
     plain black.
