Ike,

You have it all wrong, it's the unit used to keep the muffler bearings
from spinning and shorting out the Knoppler rod.  But only if the air in
your tires hasn't been rotated in the last 7K miles.  And they're held
on by inverse metric Allen Projecting set screws. And only on cars built
on Feb. 29 of odd numbered years.  8-)
