Greetings!
For once I have no questions but I do have a reminder. 'Tis the season
and all that so this may be a good time to drive for a good cause.
The Golden Gate Lotus Club, and the Fremont Touring Club present the
Toddler '97!
It is a Road Ralley open to all on Sunday, December 7th. This event is
open to ALL cars, and will take place rain or shine. The entrance fee is
$1! (Yes, there is a catch) You must also bring a toy, (new, and
unwrapped) worth about $10. The toys will be donated to the Washington
Township Volunteer Bureau's annual holiday drive for area needy families.

Here are some other particulars:

Place: San Francisco Bay Area. The starting area Round Table Pizza, 46600
Mission Blvd., between Freeways 680 and 880 in the warm springs district
of So. Fremont.

Time: Sign up between 11:00am to 12:30pm. First car departs at noon and
last at 1:00.

Bring a clipboard, pen, paper, any make car and a navigator. Award will
be given out too!

More info is available by calling (510) 793-2514 or the Rallye hot line:
408-REWIND-5.

Bring your friends to form a 5 car team to collect a champagne award.

Let's get together and flood this worth event with British Cars!

I'm not associated with either of the sponsoring clubs but with a south
bay one. This info was obtained from our monthly newsletter and was
posted without permission. I don't think anyone will mind, though!

I'm bringing my two of my Heralds, (my brother will drive one) and am
looking to fill some other slots for the Champagne Award!

I know there are a lot of British Cars in the Bay Area, (most even run!)
let's give these guys a great turnout for a great cause. The kids!

E-mail me direct if your interested in teaming up, or just call the
number above for more info. Or better yet, get a toy and show up Sunday
the 7th!
