Triumphal ones,
I am trying to locate some NLS parts for a Spit clutch master cyl.
Does anyone know where I might get (yea, right):
a) the internal spring?
b) the push rod? (yokes are worn out)
The only potential source I have found for the push rod is in Rimmer
Bros. GT6 catalog. I don't know if they have them in stock, or if
they're interchangeable with Spit push rods.
I know I can buy a whole new M/C, but I'm cheap.
FWIW I recently had a couple of old ones bored and brass-sleeved by
White Post Restorations [www.whitepost.com]. They did a great job.
Fast turnaround, and even sent a couple of tasty Virginia Mountain
Apples in the box when they returned them. They provide some very
good assembly instructions. No personal interest etc. just a happy
customer.
