I am putting in a new carpet set in my 1957 TR3 (small mouth). I figure that
it is a good time to do a little fix up and cleanup. I've got a couple of
questions about the routing of the temp gauge capillary tube. I know mine is
not in the correct position.

1) can the tube be easily unscrewed at the engine without losing the ether or
whatever makes it work?

2) I know that the capillary tube follows the fuel line and loops 3 time and
then goes through the firewall. From here I am completely lost. Would someone
look at their car and let me know where it goes between the firewall and the
gauge???

Thanks
